Haven't gone to Boomers Amusement Park in Dania for years, thought it might be a fun group event since the nights are getting cooler. For those that have never been there, this is a small amusement park with a roller coaster, miniature golf, video game arcade, bumper boats, go karts, and other thrill rides. Check out the details on their website. I think it's free to go in if you're not going to do any rides or games.
We'll start off with dinner at at Dragon City in Hollywood at Stirling Rd & N 67 Ave near the 441, near the Hard Rock Casino. This place is not like those pseudo-Chinese take-out joints that drenches every dish in that generic brown gravy. We've dined at this place before and found the food to be tasty and authentic, with made-to-order spiciness levels. We ordered several courses and spent a total of $11 a person, tax and tip included. You can share dishes or order your own entree, but either way, bring cash to pay for your bill. Boomers is 10 minutes away from the restaurant.
