Florida Panthers vs New York Islanders at the BankAtlantic Center! Come and see an NHL game where there are more residents cheering for the visitors than the home team. A promoter I met at one of our events gave me coupons for $39 upper level seats for $9 each, so I thought I'd offer them to the group as a meetup event. Parking at the BankAtlantic is free. Bring cash to pay for your tickets, as we are buying them at the box office in groups of four. The game starts at 7 pm.

We'll gather at Marumi Sushi, about 11 minutes away from the arena at Sunrise Blvd and University Ave, to disperse coupons and to carpool. We will depart Marumi before 6:15 pm. Marumi is the best Japanese restaurant in Broward and is open for dinner and drinks till 2 am, so it's a good place for an afterparty and late dinner. Food and drinks at the BankAtlantic are grossly overpriced, so you might just want to pick up a light snack and a beer there before we get back to Marumi. You don't have to eat here afterwards, but we are meeting here.

Please RSVP only if you are certain you will come and can be at the meeting place at 6 pm. If a waiting list develops, I will remove those who have a flakey history of no-shows. And no-shows for this event will result in a blackballing of my future events.
